Reflections, Research, and the Occasional Tangent
Writing a book is rarely a straight line. It's more like a spiral—circling back to ideas, revisiting characters, finding new layers in what seemed finished. These journal entries document the process as it unfolds: the breakthroughs, the obstacles, the research rabbit holes, and everything in between.
Every story starts somewhere. For A Road Between Us, it began with a single question that wouldn't let go: what happens when the barriers we've built between realities begin to crumble? That question sat with me for months, appearing in conversations, showing up in the margins of other projects, insistent and unresolved.
At some point, you stop ignoring the question and start answering it. This is the story of how I finally did.
